Roselle Park
Pre-Centennial
Celebration!

In the year 2001, the Borough will celebrate its 100th anniversary. The Mayor is asking the residents of Roselle Park to join him in the Pre-Centennial Celebration of our Borough’s incorporation.

In his 1998 Annual Address, Mayor DeIorio announced, "From here on in, Roselle Park will have a new holiday that will be celebrated on March 22nd of every year henceforth... Founder's Day, the day in which we will celebrate those that built the foundations of Roselle Park and each year succeeding to our 100th Anniversary of incorporation in 2001. Each month there will be a Pre-Centennial Celebration up until the year 2001."

The Mayor has dedicated the first Founder's Day celebration to all the volunteers of the community. All community groups and individuals are invited to participate. If you would like to be a part of "Countdown to 2001 Committee," please email the Mayor at JDeiorio@aol.com with your name and address and community group that you would like to represent (if applicable).

The Roselle Park Historical Society also seeks photographs from the borough's past in order to compile a centennial book to mark the event.
