Michael J. Mauri Park

On the corner of Grant Avenue and Chestnut Street, Michael J. Mauri Park is located in the heart of Roselle Park's downtown center. Many town events are held here including the RP Farmers Market each Wednesday during the Summer. Last April, NJ Governor Christie Whitman kicked off her 1997 Re-election campaign here.

Green Acres/Herm Shaw Field

Located adjacent to the Roselle Park High School on Webster Avenue, the Herm Shaw Field and High School athletic facility

was renovated as part of a NJ State-funded Green Acres project.

LaMonaco/Perry Park

Dedicated on May 9th of this year, the LaMonaco-Perry Monument is a tribute to State Trooper Philip LaMonaco and Port Authority Officer William Perry, who were Roselle Park residents that lost their lives in the line of law enforcement in 1980 and 1981, respectively. Located on the corner of Laurel Avenue and West Webster Avenue, residents can be proud of the tribute to State Trooper LaMonaco and Port Authority Officer Perry.

Aldene/Lincoln Park

Located in the circle in front of Aldene/Ernest J. Finizio Elementary School, Aldene/Lincoln Park has recently undergone some renovations. With a professional plan put in place by town council, sidewalks were installed and trees planted. Now residents can enjoy the area even more.


West Grant/Clay Avenue Park

The Roselle Park Girl Scouts have taken the challenge to preserve and improve the open space on the corner of West Grant and Clay Avenues. Girl Scout troops have planted flowers and continue to maintain the area free of litter.



West Lincoln/Amsterdam Avenue Park

A collaboration between the Roselle Park’s High School Ecology Club, Roselle Park Environmental Commission, and Eagle Scout David Renquist joined forces to preserve a parcel of land in the area West Lincoln and Amsterdam Avenues. This effort awarded Mr. Renquist an Eagle Scout award as well as improvements for the neighborhood.
